“By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” Luke 1:78-79
O Holy One,
Hear our prayer for restoring peace;
As a new day dawns, we open ourselves to the possibility of peace;
We thank you for those around us who live in peaceful ways;
May we see you in them and also walk lightly in this world;
We ask that you guide our feet that we may be restorers of peace
In our homes, community and world;
May it be so.
