Physical Distancing doesn't mean we can't stay connected :) Short & Simple Sunday Services ONLINE

Church in Progress is committed to providing spaces in which people can reconnect with God and with one another.

The spread of COVID-19 is changing the way we live and how we are as community. We might need to physically distance ourselves but we can certainly stay connected. So …

EVERY Sunday at 8pm (NZ time) in March and April Church in Progress will be hosting an online service. It will be simple and short – a chance to share prayers and to prayerfully ponder a section of scripture. This is not a ‘live stream’ of a physical service. This is an online event in which you can participate.

To join in simply click this link – if you’ve never used ‘zoom’ before, it’s a good idea to click this link early, you may need to download zoom. You can do this anytime from now.

Everyone is welcome to join in from their computer or smart phone at home. It doesn’t matter is you’ve never been to a Church in Progress event before. Please try and join the service at least 5 minutes before 8pm so we can start on time.

You may also want to consider wearing headphones (to help us all with sound quality) and have a candle ready to light during the service.

If there is a small group on the night, there will be a chance for you to share your prayer requests vocally. If there is a larger group, the chat box will be used to shared prayers and thoughts about the scripture.

Rev Emily will be leading the service and is excited about sharing this time with you.

All Church in Progress events are open to ALL. No matter how you identify, you will be welcomed, affirmed and celebrated.

If you have experience hurt or rejection in other church spaces – you’ll find a warm welcome here 🙂 1 John 4:18 There’s no fear in love …
